FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The #10 Nova Southeastern Sharks outlasted the Florida Southern Mocs, earning a gritty 1-0 win in the SSC Semifinals on Thursday night.
Maria Jansen's goal proved to be the difference maker and propelled the Sharks to Sunday's SSC Championship game.

- Maria Jansen scored on a beautiful assist from Ella Niemela at the 16:54 mark, and it was the lone score of the game. The goal was Jansen's second in as many games, as was Niemela's assist. The Shark defense held steady and kept the Mocs scoreless for the rest of the game.
Thursday's win sends NSU to the SSC Championship game for a date with the Florida Tech Panthers on Sunday at 4pm.
